Expanded Pure Graphite interlocked braided gland packs incorporate a metal corrosion inhibitor offering to protect the shaft from galvanic corrosion and self-generating lubrication which accommodates & aids adjustment in tightening. It has excellent chemical resistance and very anti-friction capability, so it is not afraid of scoring from arms / pistons etc.
