Non-hardening with extraordinary chemical resistance
Chesterton 1724 is a unique PTFE valve packaging specially treated with protective lubricants that will not harden and do not deteriorate in various chemical applications. Valve testing has shown that high pressure is not capable of squeezing out the lubricant from the material of the inter-braid packing valve. Chesterton 324 offers the same construction in a square braid formation.
Chesterton 1724 is guaranteed for valve life. If it does not outlast the valve is installed.
